March 11, 2017: Women’s Health Education session at Jinnah International Airport

March 11th, 2017: The Humanity Initiative team conducted a Women’s Health Education session, which catered to around    20 women, specifically tailored to the health issues faced by pilots and flight attendants, at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.

The session encompassed multiple aspects of women’s physical and mental well being. The audience was engrossed throughout and expressed their desire for similar sessions to be held. The volunteers were commended for their efforts. Just as Michelle Obama has truly said, “Communities and countries and ultimately the world are only as strong as the health of their women.” Camp after camp, HI strives to not only create awareness about general public health issues, but to shine light on the fundamentals of women’s health, how they are lacking in our community, and what we can do to help.
